We want to help good ideas grow!

2019 marks the sixth year of The Roslyn S. Jaffe Awards Program, through which ascena Foundation has donated over $785,000 to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations led by women. To date, the Roslyn S. Jaffe Awards Program has positively impacted over 15 organizations.

This year, a grant of $100,000 will be awarded as a grand prize to one organization and grants of $25,000 will be awarded to two additional organizations. One alumna of the HERlead Fellowship program will also be honored with a Young Changemaker Award and a grant of $10,000 will be awarded to her organization.  The grant nomination period extends from March 1, 2019 through May 15, 2019.

All winners will be honored during the annual Roslyn S. Jaffe Award Luncheon on October 24, 2019 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York, NY. Honorees are also invited to the Roslyn S. Jaffe Alumni Summit on the eve of the Awards for training, networking and mentoring opportunities.

About Roslyn S. Jaffe

In 1962, Roslyn S. Jaffe was a working mother who, along with her husband Elliot, saw the need for a one-stop shop that offered convenience, value and fashion-forward attire. Together, they seized the opportunity, opening a small store named dressbarn in Stamford, CT, and helping grow it into ascena retail group, inc., which is now a multibillion dollar collective of brands that includes Ann Taylor, LOFT, Lou & Grey, dressbarn, Lane Bryant, Catherines and Justice.
