Relay for Life

During the American Cancer Society Relay For Life events across the country, dressbarn and maurices associates along with customers work in teams to raise funds and take turns walking for 24 hours. These events bring people together to CELEBRATE survivors, REMEMBER those lost to cancer in a special ceremony and FIGHT BACK by creating awareness.

Making Strides

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dressbarn partners with the American Cancer Society to help raise funds for local and national breast cancer initiatives and save lives.

Toys for Tots

dressbarn has been an official Toys for Tots drop off location since the 2008 holiday season. To date, dressbarn stores have collected over 50,000 toys, bringing smiles to children across the country.

Dress for Success

Dress for Success is an organization which encourages the self-sufficiency of women. Our customers and associates have donated over 420,000 suits and career separates during our annual S.O.S. – Send One Suit Weekend along with over 165,000 brand new clothes from dressbarn to help women who are taking the steps to reach their full potential.

Rescues & Runways

Rescues & Runways is a national campaign created by maurices, in partnership with the ASPCA® American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The goals of this program are to increase awareness of animal shelters, in turn, increasing pet adoptions through pet-themed fashion shows. More than 750 maurices locations across the U.S. are hosting the fashion shows along with raising supply and cash donations for our forever friends!

United Way

Every year Justice associates gather for a week-long campaign for the United Way of Central Ohio, full of activities that keep associates engaged, aware, and involved. Money raised through raffles, games, contests, and direct giving goes toward supporting programs in their local communities. Even better, every year associates match or beat the previous year's pledges, instilling a sense of pride and community within the organization. In Pennsylvania, we have also been long-time supporters of United Way of Bucks County through annual contributions that benefit children by providing coats and grants for educational supplies.

Keeping Kids Warm®

Having warmed hearts and lives for many years, the Keeping Kids Warm program held its seventeenth exciting season of giving in November 2012. The program was started in 1996 by Charming Shoppes, and is part of Lane Bryant's, Fashion Bug's, and Catherines' ongoing effort to give back to local communities. The brands, in conjunction with vendors and suppliers, donate coats and winter accessories to elementary-school children in need. To date, Keeping Kids Warm has donated nearly 200,000 new coats and winter accessories to children in need at schools all across the country.

American Diabetes Association

Catherines is in its fourth year of partnership with the American Diabetes Association (ADA). In honor of Diabetes Awareness Month in November 2011, Catherines launched a Register Round Up campaign in stores, raising over $140,000 for the American Diabetes Association. Additionally, teams of Catherines associates, friends and families participated in 11 different ADA Step Out Walks across the country, raising money, awareness and a sense of teamwork.

Police Athletic League

We have a long standing partnership with the Police Athletic League (PAL) of Philadelphia. Annually, Keeping Kids Warm donates thousands of winter coats to the PAL organization, providing warmth to children in need all throughout the city. At the annual PAL Day at City Hall event, a select group of PAL youth are selected to spend the day at City Hall, shadowing city officials. Young ladies from the PAL organization selected to participate are granted a shopping spree at our stores for new business attire to wear to this special event.
